About The Design
From Alex Eaves: During my 10 years working in the music industry, I was lucky enough to work for, and become friends with, a lot of bands whose music inspired me to seek truths about our world and make a positive impact of my own. One of those bands was 2 Skinnee J's. This is an exciting collaboration with the band to help bring their music's inspiration to our community and more reuse benefits to their community. For fellow fans out there, you can imagine how stoked I am.
The design is based on the lyrics for the song, "Change The World." When I made the REUSE! Documentary, this was one of the songs that didn't make it into the film, but the theme of the song was something that I always wanted to incorporate into my work. Thus, this T-Shirt concept was born.
2 Skinnee J's (AKA Two Skinnee J's) (AKA Too Skinnee J's) is a hip hop / new wave rock band hailing from Brooklyn, NY. The band was founded in 1991 and in their 20+ years of playing (and not playing) have had more members than Evel Knievel had broken bones. While they "broke up" in 2003, they really never can never truly break up. Their music and their shows are just too fun. They've had reunion tours in 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012. What's next???

About The Artist
Derek "Deek" Diedricksen hails from Stoughton, MA. His artwork is created on all sorts of reclaimed materials; everything from scrap lumber to notebook pages he finds in recycling bins to old school desks. Deek actually went to college with our founder, Alex, but they didn't know each other until he stumbled across the STAY VOCAL booth at an event. He also makes a cameo in our film, REUSE! Because You Can't Recycle The Planet.
